The Process

This Citroen Xsara was victim to having acid thrown over it

A colour reading is taken from existing paintwork using state of the art specialised equipment.  The panel is degreased and the area is sanded back to remove all damage.

The exposed metal is rust treated then etch primed, this ensures good adhesion to exposed metal on the car body panel.  The repair is coated with another primer and then flatted down ready for painting.

At least 5 coats of paint are applied and dried ready for clear coat (lacquer).

Lacquer is applied and baked with an infrared lamp to cure, when fully cured the lacquer is polished.

Completed job and a very happy customer!
